kana saboed...

looks like varun's having an interesting time...

on my side. well, go read my blog lah... its damn long and i had some trouble with the formatting.. but it covers what i did the past couple of days... climbed a mountain and attended a talk by an Israeli Harvard uni Lecturer on happiness and Appreciative Inquiry.

in other news.. .finished reading State of Fear by Micheal Crighton. Since his book is based on scientific journals and stuff, i got to admit i learned something from reading it. don't believe what the media and govts are telling you about the climate. not saying to believe a fictional book either. but really, i think its best to form our opinions only after we've read the research materials ourselvs and can trust that its not been... .influenced. to putit mildly. very interesting book about the climate in crisis... kinda says that it isn't really. at least, not as urgent as we put it. and the underlying reason for all this is really a way of keeping society in control... by creating this State of Fear... the logic is sound.

like during the cold war it was the nuclear winter and communism.. then in 1989, coincidentally, after the fall of the berlin wall, its about the climate... and then health and obesity... fear of these things really keeps some industry, not to mention the political spectrum as well, alive and rich... again, to put it mildly.

still, as much as i feared the book just talking about climate only, there was a fair amount of action, storytelling and chracter development. thought the main character goes thorough the most changes, his changes seems to take place a bit more abrubtly. maybe it was a typo. instead of meaning to change over a period of time from Incident A and B... the book states he changed from Incident A. although as you read it from A to B, he's segments don't really show the change in him. but he does as he goes through the middle and 3rd part of the book.

okok... storytelling. maybe its boring you.

let me get right to my topic... Weishan msged me this morning, haven't talked to her in a while and she misses me blah blah.. on top of that, knn, she asked me how late cock chua knows about her and AL... i replied to her, i figure chua's put 2 and 2 together when i talked about being at her place so often as well as hanging out with Austin just as much.... according to her, that stupid goondu went and asked austin about it. about him and her....

stupid cockster. told him to keep his mouth shut.. and at least approach her from a I don't know anything point of view which means not to mention it unless he's told by one of them or sees them together with his own eyes. .... crap idiot jeapordised the trust i have with both weishan and austin. hmph... ok lah... i'm not really angry but quite peeved off. and yeah.. i should have expected it anyway. still, i was hoping he'd be a bit more tactical in his approach.. i dont' know why he even bothers about their relationship really. even i try not to be too prying about it... let them be lah.. no need to kay po so much right? hmph... okok.. that being said, where's he anyway? he's not one of the contributors to this blog yet.

i want a mushroom cheese prata man... the prata my mum made the other day was not prata at all..... more like sloppy saggy chappatti...

that sounds as exciting as the charcoal chicken you used to have!

as for late cock chua, well, its all in the name really, he told them after some time(lateness) and by telling them, he lived to his middle name.

on the bright side is that if you dont make any vietnamese friends, you can always count on the junta's support for your agricultural needs.
